In general,chin aesthetics is applied in cases that protrude outward and negatively affect patients aesthetically and functionally. However, it is a preferred procedure to achieve the 'triangular face' form, which is now the gold standard in plastic surgery.
After the operation, the face of the patient transforms from a rectangular form to a triangular form. Thus, the ideal chin shape, which is not apparent due to the cheeks and excess fat tissue and is very important from an aesthetic point of view, is obtained.
In some cases, chin aesthetics can be a much more complicated surgical operation that interferes with the bone structure and requires rest without chewing. Sometimes, non-surgical procedures that only interfere with the chin tip and cheek fat tissue with injection techniques may be preferred.
