Upper eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty);is the process of removing excess skin and adipose tissue from the upper eyelid in cases such as age-related or hereditary sagging of the eyelid, excess skin, and fat. Depending on the patient, this operation can take between half an hour and 1 hour under general anesthesia or local anesthesia.
There is not much pain after the operation. Bruises can be seen on the upper and lower eyelids, which last a week. No trace will disturb the patient.
The complaint of sagging and bagging in the lower eyelid can be corrected in the same surgery as the upper eyelid surgery. General anesthesia is required, and an average operation time of 2 hours is available.
